Are you over 18? (You must be 18+ to apply.)
    Yes

What are some games you plan on playing with us?
    At the moment just Neverwinter

What is the character or account name you’re joining that game with?
    Chat handle Jayo@Jayoorawwwr#2416

Do you have friends or family in the Unrepentant community? If so what is their forum name?
    No

So... let's talk! What follows are a bunch of questions that give us a sense of your personality, and give us something to talk about. If your answers are boring or short, we’ll assume you’re boring (and probably short).

Tell us the story of one of the dumbest, funniest or most embarrassing things you've done as an adult.
The funniest would have to be while I was serving in the Marine Corps. I was working the night shift as a Military Police Officer. Once my shift was over, a bunch of the other Marines and I decided to hit walmart and stock up on loads of beer and go hit the beach for the day. A buddy of mine and myself got absolutely wasted and ended up hitting on an extremely good looking older woman; she invited us to the beach front house she was renting and when we walked in we were greeted by her kid...who happened to be a Marine from a different platoon within the Provost Marshall's Office we worked with.

What's the coolest job you've ever had? What's the worst? (And why?)
The coolest job would hands down be working as a Military Police Officer. You get loads of cool training and the job itself can be extremely rewarding if you decide to put your best foot forward while doing it. The worst job was working as a manager for Advanced Auto Parts, simply because I'm not the best when it comes to "customer service" lol I have a very loose tongue that tends to get me in trouble because I seldom keep my thoughts to myself.

Name three video games you'll replay no matter how old they get. (And why?)
    Destiny 1
    God of War(Any)
    Borderlands(All)

Tell us about the most annoying person you've ever met, and why he/she annoyed you.
I'm honestly not the kind of person to be annoyed easily; sure I have a loose tongue but its never because people annoy me or anything of the sort. So, even after giving it some thought, I dont have anyone I can name.

Tell us something cool about yourself that has nothing to do with gaming. (Free hint: responding to your application thread with photo or video supporting evidence is a plus!)
The one thing I consider would be cool about me is just the fact that I served as a Marine. I've been out for nearly 3 years now but there isnt a day that goes by where I dont wish I could go back and relive some of those moments I had. I'm extremely laid back and just super easy to get along with.

Why choose the Unrepentant Gaming Community over just a regular gaming guild?
When playing games like Neverwinter I feel best if I'm with an actual Gaming Community. They're established and I know my time there will be beneficial rather than a waste and only temporary.

BONUS: Ask us some questions! We're sure you've got some.
Have none! Just ready to start playing with everyone!

    Almost done!

You enter a cave before starting an adventure. A wise old man tells you "It's dangerous to go alone. Take this." What does he hand you and why?
He hands me a detailed map of the cave to help guide me through whatever I may encounter inside.

Heyo, Jayo. Welcome to the application process to "The U".

    TL;DR of the app process:

Four "Yes" votes from a yellow named person (Ufficer) gets you in, three "No" votes from the same folks won't get you in. The application process isn't to determine how good you are at gaming, it's to determine if The U is right for you and vice-versa. We'll ask questions here in your app thread, and it's a really really good thing to keep up with this therad in particular. But feel free to post in other threads or start your own in another section. Granted, you don't have access to much, but that'll open up once you're in.

One of the Neverwinter lead-types will be along to give you details about getting in guild/Uey chat and all that; my advice once you get in is to simply be active and chat it up some, whether via in-game comms, Discord, or Mumble. With you self-professed "loose tongue", that shouldn't be difficult...

Another word - slap up a forum avatar. Gives us something to recognize you by, especially for those of us who don't play NW.

Now...a loose-tongued Marine. Interesting. I spent four years in the Navy, 3 1/2 of those years on Amphibs, picking up Marines from Okinawa and driving them around the Pacific until they got tired of being out to sea. Ever make it to Camp Hansen over in Oki? I've got some fond memories of the place, but as I was drunk 99% of the time I wasn't on the ship, they're kinda hazy.

    Welcome to the application process,

To join us in Neverwinter, you can join our in-game custom chat channel, introduce yourself as a new applicant, and request a guild invite. You join the channel by typing /channel_join uey in the text line in game.

How long were you in the Marines? Did you move around alot? Where is the coolest place you were stationed and why?

Did you consider staying in the Marines longer and what made you decide not to sign back up? Sounds like it was a really good experience for you.

SO! I'll answer all the questions in the order they were delivered.

    1. I didnt make it to Oki unfortunately. I requested Hawaii and Oki upon graduating from the school house in Virginia Beach(Intel Specialist MOS) and instead was slapped with Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point XD

    2. I didnt get the chance to move stations because I was only in for one enlistment, so I spent the bulk of it at MCAS Cherry Point in Havelock, NC. I did however get to do some traveling; I was sent to Edinburgh, Scotland to do some training with the Brits out there, although I did spend more time drunk walking the town than actually doing training lol.

    3. Absolutely not. When I first joined back in 2013 I was determined to do a full 20 and then retire, that's how motard I was about the Marine Corps. However, over the course of the years and with my promotions, I started to see a different side of the organization which I didn't agree with at all. Senior enlisted were stepping over their subordinates and ruining their careers for their own personal gain, and I found myself in trouble with said senior enlisted plenty of times because I decided to do what an NCO is meant to do, and I stood up for my Marines. Once I realized that's how things were going down, I decided it was time for me to just take my leave.
