Are you over 18? (You must be 18+ to apply.)
    Yes

What are some games you plan on playing with us?
    Neverwinter, maybe Star Citizen too

What is the character or account name you’re joining that game with?
Ciaolynn Aerouant, Sydney Aerouant, and/or Tydas Wyse

Do you have friends or family in the Unrepentant community? If so what is their forum name?
    No

So... let's talk! What follows are a bunch of questions that give us a sense of your personality, and give us something to talk about. If your answers are boring or short, we’ll assume you’re boring (and probably short).

Tell us the story of one of the dumbest, funniest or most embarrassing things you've done as an adult.
I was having a trying week at work and had lost someone close to me. I decided a 12 pack of Boston Lager and a pint of bourbon was in order, so I went and got them. The wife doesn't like me drinking bourbon because it (the drink, not me) reminds her of when she used to drink and drama blah blah. I got myself some anyhow. I'm a grown a** man and took my oath--I can drink when and what I want. Anyhow, I'm out in the garage, doing business with that shot glass and bottle, and throughout the night, she pipes in to chide me or just pester me because she's bored with no wine. I'm really wanting to go it by myself, introspection and all. We eventually agree mutually to have me-time. Anyhow.. in the middle of winding down, remembering, and introspecting, I have a flashback and subsequent little blips of replays for maybe not even a minute or two it seemed. My drinking apparently kicked up during then because the next thing I know is that I am waking up out of a flashback, peeing on two of my kids' little folding couch thing, previously of which I thought was Mr. Akbar we helped take a dirt nap in a ditch off the street. I hear "what the eff do you think you're doing?" and I believe I replied with, "Eff this terrorist a-hole..." The wife said she couldn't understand me, got pissed, and went to stay in a hotel room for the night. After I finished with Mr. Akbar, I went to pass out and can't remember if there was anything else that happened that night.

What's the coolest job you've ever had? What's the worst? (And why?)
The coolest job was probably security at a casino or a soldier. You got to see a lot of interesting stuff and met cool people in both. Did some really neat things and not-so-neat things (but that's the territory). The worst was probably when I worked at AT&T as a networking technician. Dealt with terrible folks, all the time, customers and other employees. The management there didn't care about you, only the numbers, and never allowed you an opportunity to have fun or anything.

Name three video games you'll replay no matter how old they get. (And why?)
    HexEmpire on kongregate.com
    CounterStrike Source
    Rome 2: Total War
They are games that I have fond memories associated with.

Tell us about the most annoying person you've ever met, and why he/she annoyed you.
All useless FNGs are pretty annoying, but one guy "Jeremy" was one I almost throat punched while on our #5 line. He was useless and loved his retro flip-phone more than he did his job. Was also the type of guy that irritated the hell out of you simply just because he wanted to see what you'd do. Never been in a fight. Was socially awkward and spatially retarded. Probably autistic. Worst kind of work ethic and etiquette you've ever imagined. Sports nerd, drove a Mustang. Grr...

Tell us something cool about yourself that has nothing to do with gaming. (Free hint: responding to your application thread with photo or video supporting evidence is a plus!)
My family has a castle, and has a city named after us, in Italy.

Why choose the Unrepentant Gaming Community over just a regular gaming guild?
Honestly, you're the first that popped up. I'd have browsed more, but I read through your intro and web page and liked what I had seen. It's not often you get groups that are dedicated to standards like the ones you all have.

BONUS: Ask us some questions! We're sure you've got some.
I'm a dad to 4, so there may be periods of time as to where I am not able to game, let alone log on here. For ease of gaming and to keep in a good community, are members ever given the boot for extended leaves? Do we have to give notifications even if we don't know when it comes about, or for how long it may be?

    Almost done!

You enter a cave before starting an adventure. A wise old man tells you "It's dangerous to go alone. Take this." What does he hand you and why?
A summoning stone, so that I can gain a battle buddy when I really need one.

Hey there and welcome to the app process. I don't play either of the games you mention so I'll keep this generic; hopefully some neverwinter folk will be along soon.

So I'll do the dull admin bit - we can send you a provisional invite, we get to know you, you get to know us and if that goes well you get accepted. You need 4 YES votes from people like me or 3 NO votes...we are seriously casual gamers so there are no renown targets, no compulsory raid nights, just log in and play when you can. We do take the application process seriously though so you will want to stay active on this app (or tells us if you are going to be away for a period so you don't get kicked for inactivity) but once voted in you can come and go as you please including in other games. Hope that answers your question.

+1 for already sorting out an avatar.

Of the games you list, the one i have played a lot is Total War: Rome, indeed all of the Total War titles. What is it about Rome 2 you particularly like - is there a familial tie in? They have been teasing a wholly new historical setting for a forthcoming title - what would you like to see?

Started with a dwarven sorc (Marrioc), now cycling through racial TRs; a ranger/rogue mechanic (Serriondal), a 2WF dwarf with axes (Hwarc); Jzz, Suhioc, Hammioc, Parsnips and xxnelliexx for special occasions.

Welcome to the application process! To join us in Neverwinter, you should join our custom in-game chat channel, introduce yourself as a new applicant and request a guild invite. Any full member can hook you up. To join the chat channel, type /channel_join uey in the command line. Once you get your guild invite, be sure to put your forum name in the member comments section of the guild roster page (hit g, click roster tab, see member comments in right column), so that the guild leadership knows who you are and won't kick you. Don't forget to check out the guild boons either (hit c, click boons tab, click stronghold tab on left side of window). See you in game.

Hi Cephalic D, thanks for your app and welcome to the process. Our rule is, the application is the only thing we take seriously around here, so keep engaged during the app process. We don't care how often you play or when, or if you disappear from time to time. We are adults first, gamers second.
People have gotten the boot, but it's rare and always for repeated incidents of poor behavior. You can suck all you want at gaming or attendance, but we won't tolerate a shitbird!

What did you do back when you were a soldier? Are there any good stories from your service days? Any epic pranks or even more epic screw ups?

    Ditto.
    NO.
Mutiny - Is it okay if I call you the artist former known as D.R., Mr. Fuentes?
Death_Rictus - Except that would require me to be an artist... and I'm not that by even the loosest of definitions.
Mutiny - No, you are. Your canvas is polygonal artificial intelligence-controlled cops and your paint is their blood.
