Jon Gomm - Dream Factories

Mix of rapid fire finger picking, harmonics, strumming, and backed by clever and sparing use of effects... But it was the tie in lower notes and slap of that low string that closed it for me. I'd love to be that good.

Don't see these genres often mixed anymore...

Starset - Manifest

EDIT: well that was unexpected... I didn't think they'd be able to keep that up live, nor have the strings live.

So at the overlap of this thread and the group. I give you some amazing original music and great music videos from League of Legends. Like these have no right being THIS good.
Specifically this one. Like its Hard KPop but DAMN that first rap verse hits hard, and I don't even like Rap.

we do have a general lack of pop on this thread. I appreciate the genre, especially when it uses the sound of instruments to their depth, rather than bad sampling that sounds terrible. Sorry, but Billie Jean will forever be on my playlist somewhere.

And now for something different...

Most anime OSTs I hear are different varieties of modern music. Some are very good. Rare is the full orchestral soundtrack and rarer still is a good one. None has ever had the impact on my as the OST for 12 Kingdoms.

If you give it a listen, please listen through 3:30, as it has several distinct stages, and its the last phase that puts it in the company of the best movies and game OSTs.

Volbeat has made lots of rounds here, and I'm sure this was posted somewhere, but either I can't find it or the link died.
