Life on Venus? Astronomers See a Signal in Its Clouds

The detection of a gas in the planet’s atmosphere could turn scientists’ gaze to a planet long overlooked in the search for extraterrestrial life.

For the science nerds, this has some interesting notions. Regardless of whether the source is biological or not, this is huge. Interestingly enough, life has been theorized in the upper atmosphere before, including by a professor at my local University, but also by people like Carl Sagan.
